With more than 100 years of experience, Correa Spain is a leading maritime services provider in Spain, specialising in ship consignment and chartering in ports and refineries.
Founded in 1906 by Juan Correa, the company began its career transporting crude oil from the Black Sea to northern Spain. During the First World War, the company continued to transport bulk cargoes and iron ore, despite the constant risks generated by the blockade.
Throughout the 1940s, the company's traffic focused on the transport of phosphates and coal. Between 1965 and 1985, as a shipowner, it built four bulk carriers of between 3,000 and 6,000 tonnes capacity.
Today, the fourth generation of the family continues to work in the maritime business.
